Method Of Shipping Your Rough Gemstone For Cutting
You could ship your rough stones to Sri Lanka for cutting via Postal Express (EMS) or Registered Air-Mail or you could use Courier Services (FedEx, UPS, DHL etc). We recommend shipping your rough gems via EMS (Express Mail Service through Post Office) or FedEx its faster, safer, easy to track online.

HOW TO SHIP YOUR ROUGH GEMS FOR CUTTING OR HEAT TREATING SERVICES
Please make out a Shipping Invoice in a piece of paper & insert inside the package mentioning the names of the Gems, Weight, Piece count & dollar value between the amount of $100 – $500 based upon the weight of the parcel for customs purposes only.

Further when shipping gemstones for cutting write down on the Customs Form or Postal Shipping Documents as,
”Mineral Rough Specimens”
HSN Code: 710310
instead of “Raw Gems” or “Rough Gems” or any due to security purposes.
Also write down on the bottom of the Shipping Invoice as “Gems are sent for Cutting, Polishing only or else “Heat Treatment purpose, or Jewelry making purpose only”
Make sure to Email us all the details of the items you shipped (Details of rough stones such as name of stones, weight by grams or carats and the declared value ) As we have to provide these information to the customs of Sri Lanka during inspection. If failed to disclose details of the rough gems prior to customs inspection your shipment might get delayed in customs of Sri Lanka before they release the package.

Shipping Your Stones Back
All the Orders are Shipped by either Postal Service, Courier Service or via Air Freight at your request. All Orders are Shipped F.O.B. Sri Lanka. The Customer is responsible for freight, insurance, Handling or if any Customs Charges related to the Shipment & Import of Merchandise.
Please make a note that we will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Shipment if insurance is not purchased. We usually ship all Orders within 4-7 business days after payment has been received
POSTAL SERVICE
We send goods to you by registered airmail, so normally, the postman brings the goods, you sign for them and you have them without further formalities. Usually it takes about 14-21 working days for an air-mail registered item to get from Sri Lanka to any International destination.
Cost of Shipping via registered airmail(EMS) $80 with insurance. After Shipping your Order we will email you the Tracking number
COURIER SERVICE
FedEx service are fully operational here from Sri Lanka. Shipment arrives at most destination with in 4 – 5 working days. Please log into the FedEx website for Shipping Rates. Please make a note that there will be an additional charge of $45 incurred on top of Courier Charges. After Shipping your Order we will email you the Tracking number. Please note that FedEx refuses to deliver packages to P.O. Box numbers and requires physical addresses for all its deliveries. We can not be held responsible for shipping errors resulting from erroneous mailing addresses and customs delays.

Please Note: If a shipment is rejected because of customs clearance charges you will be responsible for any fees incurred
Payment
After we finish Processing your Order (Gem Cutting Service) or finish Treating your Gemstones, we will Email you a detail Invoice (along with import clearing charges if any and Shipping Charges). At the receipt of the funds through Paypal, Western Union, Money Gram, International Money Order or wire transfer to our Bank we will Ship your Order to you via Postal Service by EMS ( $80.00)
Normally the postman brings the goods, you sign for them and you will have them without further formalities. If you have a FedEx account and would like to use your account to ship your stones we could do that for you.
We accept payment through PayPal (*note you need to pay a fee of 2.9% which is acquired by PayPal for the total amount), Please go to www.paypal.com and set-up an account. Send your payment to our PayPal account ID: sithygems@sltnet.lk using your credit card (VISA, Master Card, Discover or American Express), debit card, eCheque or bank transfer. Once payment is approved, PayPal will immediately notify us by email. Once your order is processed, we will ship your order to your door by Postal Registered Air-Mail or upon your request via FedEx. Once your order has been shipped, we will email you a tracking number so you can track your shipment
We accept payment through VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER (*note you need to pay a fee of 2.95% for VISA/MASTER or 3.5% for AMEX/DISCOVER ). We will send a payment link to you with the invoice amount and you can pay by any card of your choice. Once payment is approved we will ship your order to your door by EMS or upon your request via FedEx. Once your order has been shipped, we will email you a tracking number so you can track your shipment
If you’re sending the money via WESTERN UNION for the service you’re purchasing. You could send the Money to SAINUL MOHAMED – Sri Lanka. Just after sending the Money you will be given a Control Number by Western Union Office, Please email us the Control Number along with the name, address of the senders full information. If you’re sending the money via MONEY GRAM for the service you’re purchasing. You could send the Money to, SAINUL MOHAMED – Sri Lanka. Just after sending the Money you will be given a Number by MONEY GRAM, Please email us the Number along with the name, address of the senders full information.
You could also send us a INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER payable to: SAINUL MOHAMED, once you have fully submitted your order, you can send the payment to the address below. Please make sure to write your email address on the Money Order, so we may properly credit your account
BANK PAYMENT – You could also use your Bank account to wire transfer Money to our Bank account .
